Due to continued growth and expansion, we are now looking for Experienced Mig Welders to join a successful and long established engineering company in the Halstead area.

• Location: Halstead area, North Essex – commutable from Halstead, Braintree, Sudbury
• Permanent, 40 hours per week
• Working Hours: 7.30 until 16.00 Mon to Friday.
• Own transport essential due to location
• Starting hourly rate depending on experience and weld test during interview
• Overtime available and paid at time and a half

Excellent opportunity to work with a long established, successful and progressive heavy engineering company, who are looking for a welders/fabricators to join their team. You will be welding large steel structures.

• Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components (typically 5mm+).
• Fabricate assemblies and subframes in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately to produce precise welds and assemblies.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily build targets and deadlines.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace in good condition.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
