    Hours: up to 30 hours per week, worked over 4/5 days

    We are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Accounts Administrator to join a busy office team. This is a varied role suited to someone with strong administration skills, good attention to detail, and confidence working with financial data.

    The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the accounts function, handling invoice processing, customer statements, supplier information, and general office administration. This role would suit someone who is comfortable managing repetitive data-entry tasks accurately and efficiently, while also being able to communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and colleagues.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Producing and processing customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
    • Inputting supplier invoices onto the system
    • Preparing monthly invoices for subcontractors
    • Producing and sending customer statements
    • Handling general office administration duties
    • Responding to emails and telephone calls in a professional manner
    • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data is entered correctly
    • Supporting the wider team with accounts and administration tasks as required
    • Working independently to manage workload and deadlines

    Key Skills and Experience

    • Previous experience in an accounts administration, finance administration, or office administration role would be beneficial
    • Strong data inputting skills, with speed and accuracy essential
    • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
    • Confident using Microsoft Excel
    • Sage experience would be highly desirable
    • Comfortable working alone as well as part of a team
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Reliable, organised, and able to prioritise workload effectively

    The Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a structured, detail-focused role and takes pride in keeping records accurate and up to date. You will be comfortable handling a high volume of data input, dealing with routine accounts tasks, and supporting a small office team with day-to-day administration.
