Role : Project Engineer

Location : Halstead, Essex

Full time, perm – 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday

Salary : up to £35K plus profit related bonus scheme

Our client is an established engineering/manufacturer based in Halstead, Essex. They are now seeking an additional Mechanical Project Engineer to join their small projects team. You will be responsible for processing enquiries, specification of equipment and quotation work for company’s products and services. Role will include performance of all aspects of the contracts including cost control, drawing preparation and contract documentation, procurement of certain materials, parts and services, client and factory liaison and expediting of products.

Requirements:

• A good level of education in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in a Mechanical or Air Movement engineering environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to work within a small team.
• Good organisational skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Be adaptable to change.
• Ability to prioritise multi tasks.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to understand technical drawings.
• Ability to interpret and understand Customers requirements.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suit (Excel etc.)
