Senior Solicitor/Senior Legal Executive – Private Clients

Salary £55k – £65k

With minimum of 3 year post qualified

This role is working for our client; hybrid working is considered for this position.

Job Purpose:

• To contribute to the effectiveness of the department by providing a comprehensive and efficient service to clients in order that the business objectives of the firm and the department are achieved.
• To maintain the high standards of service offered to the firm’s existing clients and to assist in furthering the professional reputation of the department.
• To contribute generally to the business development of the department. To assist in the running of seminars and other promotional events.

Main Duties:

• To provide legal advice and assistance to the firm’s clients in connection with casework undertaken within the department, details of which are specified in the firm’s office manual and departmental working instructions.
• To maintain the high standard of service offered to the firm’s existing clients and to assist in creating and developing the professional reputation of the department.
• To operate the firm’s quality procedures as specified in the current edition of the office manual and departmental working instructions.
• To assist and contribute to the continued development of the new business of the department in accordance with the firm’s objectives and business plan.
• To work on your own initiative. To be subject to varying degrees of supervision on a day-to-day basis liaising with the Head of the Private Client Department and other partners on a regular basis.
• To liaise and communicate with other departments within the firm in pursuance of the firm’s wider business objectives and goals.
• To seek guidance and assistance from the Head of the Private Client Department whenever appropriate.
• To take instructions from the Head of the Private Client Department and any partner of the firm.
• To promote and develop our clients’ Head of the Private Client Department by expanding the client base and establishing personal identity in the local community.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties which may from time to time be allocated to you.
