Stores Person

The role will suit a motivated and methodical person who will ensure that all goods coming into and going out of the stores environment are checked, packaged and handled correctly, that all paperwork is completed and stock inventory is maintained and accurate at all times. The stores service all workshops and customers on a daily basis for parts that may be required. Some heavy lifting may be required.

Responsibilities not limited to:

• Pick according to delivery notes / picking sheets
• To ensure that all stock is clearly marked with the correct part numbers
• Ensure that all stock returned from the workshops is listed and returned to the correct locations.
• Enter data onto the computer from information
• Take an active role in regular stock checks
• To control consumable stock on a weekly basis
• Carry out general store duties promptly and efficiently

Requirements of the Stores Person:

• Computer literate
• Methodical
• Eager to learn
• Adaptable, flexible and enthusiastic
• Thrive in a busy and fast-moving environment
• Excellent people skills and enjoy working alone and as part of a team
