COMPANY BACKGROUND:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client, a dynamic, forward-thinking company based in Braintree, recognised as a supplier of electrical power distribution solutions for industrial, commercial and domestic applications.

REQUIREMENTS:
You will play a vital role in supporting the supply chain operations by ensuring sufficient stock availability to meet sales demands whilst maintaining cost and efficiency. This position involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods and delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supplier negotiation and management

Supplier Liaison

Collaboration with internal teams

Import and Customs handling

Compliance and continuous improvement activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential

Some experience in supply chain, purchasing or logistics roles

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment

Preferred

Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred

Basic negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management
