CEO & Founder
Amanda Coulson
I run the business alongside my business partner Paul Goodchild. As well as being the CEO, I am a Business Coach.
Following a successful career within recruitment across East Anglia, my passion and determination to make a difference led me to establish SVC in 1999. The key priority is to exceed customers’ expectations. Some highlights, Essex Countywide Business Woman of the Year in 2010. And becoming a qualified ILM Trainer and Executive Business Coach.
Something not many know about me:
I love being an aunty. ‘Aunty Panda’ has stuck and sometimes my staff refer to me as this - a name I cannot shrug off anymore so learned to love it!.

Managing Director
Paul Goodchild
As well as the managing director, I'm a Chartered Safety & Health Practitioner (CMIOSH), and co-founder of SVC Safety Solutions.
I work within different industry sectors offering the highest level of H&S support and guidance. A Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupation Safety and Health (IOSH), I have over 20 years management and operational experience as a Health and Safety Practitioner. I have been part of SVC since 2006. In 2017 I became Managing Director of SVC Solutions and Partner of SVC Safety Solutions LLP alongside Amanda Coulson.
Something not many know about me:
I am a keen member of the gym and I believe fitness can get you through the hard times and keep you on point.

Account Manager
Sarah Ferguson
I have extensive accounts experience gained over 38 years! I look after the company’s finances and payroll.
I started working for SVC in 2017 as the Accounts Manager. I run the day-to-day accounts and payroll, providing monthly management accounts, and supporting Amanda and Paul where required.
Something not many know about me:
In my free time I like to do gardening, go for walks and visit national trust properties.

Head of L & D
Charlotte Flatman
As Learning and Development head, I run our training division and deliver some of our courses. I also help clients with team performance.
I help clients with training needs analysis and initiatives for staff development congruent with business needs and future growth across all different industry sectors. I'm also an ILM-approved Tutor and IQA, responsible for managing all aspects of our ILM Centre.
My passion is developing people in the workplace and watching their progression with years of delivering qualifications and long-term learning programmes. Fully CIPD-qualified HR Professional with a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, I have over 14 years of experience in human resources. I understand both commercial needs and effective people management.
Something not many know about me:
On leaving school, I trained and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse! I like spending time with my horses and managing my rare-breed sheep flock.

Health & Safety Consultant
Charlie Hayes
I deliver Health and Safety training and provide advice to our clients to help protect them and ensure that they are legally compliant.
I joined SVC in 2015. I have been working in H&S for 10 years and hold qualifications as NEBOSH General, Construction & Environmental Certificate, Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice, IFSM Fire Manager Certificate and Graduate Member of IOSH.
Something not many know about me:
I travelled around India, South East Asia & Hong Kong. Away from work I like to socialise with friends and family, play golf and I sometimes go to the gym.

Senior HR Business Partner
Katy Williams
I have worked in SVC since 2015. I am a fully qualified HR Consultant with a Law Degree and international experience.
Qualification are LLB (hons) Assoc CIPD, and PG Dip HRM.
I have 20 years of Human Resources generalist experience and over 8 years in HR consultancy. I am passionate about providing the very best support and guidance to all our clients.
Something not many know about me:
I like travelling to sunny destinations, going on long family dog walks, baking and the theatre.

Business Consultant
Julia Palmer-Randle
I am the ‘go to person’ to find candidates for Specialist, Executive and Technical hard to fill roles.
I joined SVC in 2005 and have over 25 years of experience in recruitment. I have established strong bonds with the Engineering, Manufacturing and Technical industries, my clients go back to 1996!
I believe that today’s candidate, could be tomorrow’s client – so always treat everyone with honesty and integrity.
Something not many know about me:
I’m a bit of a sci-fi geek and love everything to do with Stargate. I'm a volunteer / senior steward for an events company - who I featured with in the Guinness Book of Records!

Temporaries Consultant
Kate Burns-Green
I recruit for temporary placements and work alongside my colleagues recruiting permanent roles.
I found that I absolutely love recruitment from a previous role where I inspired people into teaching.
Over the six years I was there, I saw approximately 200 trainees through their training year and into a wonderful career!
Something not many know about me:
I love paddleboarding. Oh and once danced on Top of the Pops (as an audience member!).

PA & Administrator Support
Trudi Turner
I provide administrator support for Accounts as well as the Training and Development division.
I have a lot of reception experience and gaining many more skills. IT skills support any administration task. I enjoy helping others and supporting them with my skills gained from various businesses. Now at SVC, I am gaining even more experience to be the best I can be to support the various departments.
Something not many know about me:
I enjoy spending time with family, walking and reading. Conscious about my wellbeing, this plays a large part of my daily routine. Meditation helps to keep me positive and peaceful.

Head of Well-Being
Murphy Coulson
I ensure that everyone is feeling on top form, that when things are pressured I bring them all back to reality.
I am a great listener, and keep the ship and crew on track. I have mastered the “look”; all I have to do is give them that "look" and they know what to do.
I am calm under pressure, the training I have received from SVC has been amazing and I have picked everything up so quickly. I simply charm them out of the trees, I am really great at that.

Well, you might not believe this but I have super powers, I can make any situation positive just with my charming personality.
